Peter has over 30 years professional experience as a Consulting Arborist. Peter was educated in Australia with a BSc (Forestry) from ANU, Canberra and a Certificate in Horticulture from Ryde College of TAFE.

Peter is a Director of Tree Wise Men^® Australia Pty Ltd. He has experience in both public and private sector projects, preparing comprehensive analysis of amenity tree problems. Peter has the role of senior Arborist on all projects and is also involved in mentoring junior, arboricultural staff.

For the past two decades Peter Castor has successfully provided Expert Witness testimony in the NSW Land and Environment Court, Supreme and Local Courts as well as having been retained as an Expert in the Court of Arbitration, Hong Kong. Peter has been admitted to the prestigious UK based, Academy of Experts as an Expert Witness for international projects.

More recently Peter has attained Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) and Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) accreditation.

Peter is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia (Environmental Chapter) and is vice president of the Institute of Australian Consulting Arboriculturists (IACA). Peter has been a participant in Planning Institute of Australia study tours of Scandinavia and China, as an Environmental Chapter representative and has recently undertaken arboricultural study in Chile and the United Kingdom.
