Acacia Remembrance Sanctuary, Bringelly is a recently approved memorial facility that is pioneering the contemporary concept of natural burials in Australia.
At the heart of the project is the retention of most of the existing Cumberland Plain Woodland tree canopy. This has been achieved by an Arboricultural Impact Assessment prepared by Tree Wise Men® Australia Pty Ltd which guided the Master Plan of Landscape Architects McGregor Coxall.
The facility owned by Zinnia Group introduces a modern, eco friendly, secular burial philosophy to Australians keen for an alternative that better reflects their personal views. The existing Cumberland Plain Woodland will be managed sustainably with conventional burial plots restricted to outside tree protection zones and with discreet markers, rather than headstones used to define burial plots.
